THE JOB: Set up greeter table, communion table, and sandwich boards

WHEN: Please arrive by 9:30am

HOW: Complete the follow tasks before people arrive: 

• SANDWICH BOARDS: Set out THE sandwich boards (one on street corner and one in front door). Signs are located behind the stage.

  GREETER TABLE: The table and the items that go on the table are located behind the stage. Set up the table and cover with the table cloth (inside the bin). Place items from the bin on the table (this changes on occasion as various initiatives are introduced). The following items should always be available:

  • bulletins (new each week/pastor will provide)

  • communication materials for Garfield Community Farm,

  • information on giving opportunities,

  • pronoun pins, masks, and stickers.

• COMMUNION TABLE: The table and the items that go on the table are located behind the stage. Set up the table and cover with the table cloth (inside the bin):

  • Fill the baptismal bowl with water and place on the table.

  • Set offering basket on stairs behind the table.

  • Set out the plate and cups for the bread and juice. Left over juice may be located in the refrigerator. (Pastors will provide bread and juice.)

  • Make sure to cover bread with cloth napkin/towel.
