Personality is wired into the autonomic nervous system as a childhood survival strategy, yet in adulthood it limits us by creating barriers to growth, change, and receptivity to grace. The Enneagram is an extraordinarily accurate map that helps us to recognize our personality type structure and habitual patterns of thinking, feeling, and behaving. Combining psychology, spirituality, and somatics, the Enneagram provides skills and methods for a) expanding awareness; b) working with the reactivity of our type structure; c) implementing the vice- to-virtue conversion; and d) increasing our capacity to be receptive to grace. Join us to better understand and have compassion for ourselves and others in learning to work with our biases of attention, how we see ourselves, how we view the world, our triggers, defense mechanisms, blind spots, vice, virtue, and intuitive gifts.
This is a six-week class, taking place from 6:00pm- 8:00pm on six consecutive Wednesdays: October 9th, 16th, 23rd, 30th, November 6th and 13th.
