A Day with Brian McLaren

April 25, 2018

Free and open to the public

The New Worshiping Communities Commission of Pittsburgh Presbytery is so excited to co-sponsor with Pittsburgh Theological Seminary a day with Brian McLaren.  Brian is an author, speaker, activist, and public theologian. A former college English teacher and pastor, he is a passionate advocate for “a new kind of Christianity” – just, generous, and working with people of all faiths for the common good.  He has been a prophetic forerunner in starting new worshiping communities for the last 15 years and continues to be a voice that gently and yet firmly calls the 21st Century church to faithful incarnation of the Gospel in its ever changing local contexts.  Whatever your context, please join us for a day of conversation and exploration of the contours of faithfulness in our times.
